Hayley’s Fresh Salsa

This recipe never fails and is always a hit!

Ingredients
·         1 clove of garlic
·         3 green onions cut into 1 inch pieces  (I use the bottom two inches of the stem – the white  part and about an inch of the green part for 6 pieces total)
·         Small handful of fresh cilantro leaves, loosely chopped
·         1 inch piece of a fresh green jalapeno pepper, seeds removed
·         Juice of half a lime
·         3 vine tomatoes, cut in quarters
·         Pinch sea salt

Instructions

1.       Place garlic, green onion, cilantro, and jalapeno into TM bowl and chop for 5 seconds, speed 5.  Scrape down sides of bowl

2.       Add lime juice, tomatoes and sea salt.  Chop 5 seconds, speed 5

Serve with Nacho chips

Variations
For a mild salsa, do not use the Jalapeno.  For a hot salsa, add two inches of Jalapeno.

For a chunkier salsa, drain some of the juice by placing the simmer basket in the bowl and hold in place with the spatula while draining liquid.
